From the mouth of others…

I spoke about managing social media and interactive marketing for the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and Mary Graham, Senior Vice President of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce said this about my presentation “The members that attended our event loved your presentation.  You shared information that helped people understand new technology and provided tools on how to manage all the new social media.  Your style was relaxed but extremely informative.”

Was also on the tech panel for the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Power Breakfast series and Andy Owens, Managing Editor, said this: “Jason Bradford’s understanding of new media and how it can be leveraged in an entreprenurial way gives him a depth of expertise that you don’t often see. He’s a great speaker because he has been immersed in technology and new media and knows that businesses need a return on investment if they’re going to survive and thrive.

Yes, I like to talk, present and teach… so much so that we have seminars starting in June that will focus on interactive media, social media, search engine marketing, blogging, podcasting and everything else that will bring businesses both small and large and edge online.

Now on with the “About Me” page…

Born in SC.  Married for 17 years (yes, I was betrothed- got my wife for 2 oxen!).  Have two amazing kids.  Currently living in Charleston, SC but have a house in Nashville.  Love Nashville. Love Charleston.

I’m an internet obsessed guy who’s been playing on these contraptions since the early days of Compuserve and BB/Chat boards.  I have a few different talents and am blessed & excited to use them daily.  Music, I love music.  I’ve produced, engineered, sang and written for indie artists as well as a few platinum major label artists.  Written music cues and beds for prime time TV as well as an indie film.  Being creative is something I need to keep my life balanced.

Internet/Interactive Marketing, another passion.  I like gadgets. I love the internet.  I love telling people about new things and love just as much, learning new things.  I won’t tell you I’m a web developer, but more of a creative director for websites and interactive ideas.  I get things done.  If I can do it, great.  If I can’t- I’m sure, I know someone who can.

I work for a large developer in Charleston currently handling all interactive initiatives including 8 websites, multiple email campaigns, search engine optimization (when I started we had less than 10 keywords ranked on the front page of Google-  we currently rank #1 for over 180 keywords/terms), managing multiple PPC campaigns with Google and Yahoo, Direct Banner/Placement buys, developed interactive touchscreens for our sales center and continue to assist adapting our staff to social media and internet changes.

Wow.  That was a lot of blah…blah…blah, eh? Nope. I’m not from Canada but I love hockey.  Nashville Predators… and most importantly I love football.  Go Titans!

If you are still interested in me (bless your soul if you are that bored) you can find 25 random things about me below my shameless-self-promoting pics.
