You don’t know me ……..but I went to school with your Dad. He has always been very special to me……. in school we called him “Just Curt”. I have truly enjoyed reading each one of your blogs. I sit and read them and know how proud your Mom and Dad must be of you. You are amazing !! Prayers are going up for you and entire family.

As is your Grandma, beautiful. Simply beautiful. I remember the lyrics from an old Kingsmen song “Angels Hard to Find” goes- he was walking thru his garden, with a special flower in mind.” Your grandma was a perfect rose.

I’ve watched you the last few days, especially showing up at any time just to get those hugs and tugs and tight grips on your hand from Mom. I know she’s probably laughing inside at your spontaneous comments….She’s determined to keep you by her side and get those last kisses. What a joy to see you two together. You’re the first grandson and she’s always been proud of you; often told me she had secrets with Jason that no one would ever know. When you left earlier today, she mumbled that i should take you the card for you and the children were going to lunch with Chelsea and your Dad. I assume she meant the $2 was in an envelope….:) Thank you Jake for being here with Mom. Not only for Mom but for your mom and Dad and all of us..
