Hello Twitter-ville

// June 2nd, 2008 // life, Technology

Twitter LogoAfter a few weeks of using Twitter, it’s becoming a habit.  I wasn’t sure what the point was but quickly realized how much I’ve learned and have been able to “listen” in on.

For example, today David Meerman Scott an author that I wrote about last year (yes, I’m still working on this ebook) announced a new book for July on Twitter- so obviously I was able to jump to his page and learn about it…  One of the band members from Third Day is on there and you can see what they are up too.  Seems a little stalker-ish, but used correctly is a great tool.  I’ve made some new marketing friends and some of these guys are over the top smart.

If you search you’ll quickly find some very interesting folks on Twitter.  Presidents and CEOs of large companies, artists, friends and people with like interests.  Go ahead and give it a try…  you can always delete your account!

  1. Twitter is fun. But it’s the crack cocaine of the Web. If you’re not careful, you’ll get sucked in and it can ruin your life!

    Take care,
    David
