New Weezer & Radiohead Tracks Leaked
// August 17th, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Music & Entertainment
Looks like Walmart accidently leaked the new Weezer single. It’s the same Weezer we’ve grown to love. Check it below.
And since we are talking about leaks… Radiohead is giving away a new track that leaked last week. The track is called These Are My Twisted Words and be downloaded free here
Think Social Media Is A Fad?
// August 15th, 2009 // No Comments » // Technology
The stats presented in this video are amazing and will blow your mind. The medium in which we socialize and connect continues to evolve at record speed.
I think most won’t doubt the growth and/or use but seeing these stats remind us that the times are (have) changing.

Free Music Friday : Heading To Atlanta Edition
// August 14th, 2009 // No Comments » // Totally Free Music!
I had no clever name for this week’s Free Music Friday and I’m heading to Atlanta this weekend with four of my good friends. We’ve decided to all have a mustache for the trip.. why? I don’t know. Bonus track at the bottom in honor of the ’stache. On with the music.
I’m an absolute fan of this band right off the bat. Any Day Parade (from their own description) is Swaggering Jangly Punky Alt. Country — I couldn’t have said it better myself. I’ll have more from these guys in a few weeks.

No explanation is needed for this. Absolutely Amazing.
How Can I Stand Here…
// August 10th, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Music & Entertainment, life
I’ve heard this song a million times and today some of the lyrics hit me good. Nothing amazing, nothing out of the ordinary but maybe that’s why they seem so relevant.
You are the strength, that keeps me walking.
You are the hope, that keeps me trusting.
You are the light to my soul.
You are my purpose…you’re everything.How can I stand here with you and not be moved by you?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
Those are from the Lifehouse song “Everything”. Check it out on Amazon.
If you have a few minutes I encourage you to turn off the lights, close your eyes and just let the video below play.
Free Music Friday : Proud Of Myself
// August 7th, 2009 // No Comments » // Totally Free Music!
Checking in with some new tunes. As usual it’s a mix of stuff! I like this mix of tracks so that is why I’m proud of myself. Are you proud of me? It’s cool. Enjoy!
Andy Yorke is a great singer/songwriter who has resurfaced after leaving the band Unbelievable Truth in 2000. He walked away from music vowing to never return… however the music had other plans.

Crazy Love – Think Before You Speak

The Dead Weather Makes Me Want To Rock (again)
// July 15th, 2009 // No Comments » // Music & Entertainment
I gave up the live music scene around 1999 when I realized there were some great musicians out there who had it covered. I was determined to let them rock and I’d help them get out there so people could hear them (visit Tone Box for those details).
Since then I’ve written tons of music, even contributed over a 100 tracks to a TV catalog that has been on every major network and many other cable networks.
It may seem silly but I still have this urge to pick up my guitar and make music. New music, something is just built in. I’m pretty sure I’ll dabble but it won’t be anything major (at least no plans). So where am I going with this? What’s the point.
The point is The Dead Weather. Jack White’s new experiment with Kills’ singer Alison Mosshart, Dean Fertita from the Queen’s Of The Stoneage and Jack Lawrence from the The Raconteurs. I heard the single “Hang You From The Heavens” a while back and was so ready for this album. The album Horehoud landed yesterday and I can’t quit listening to it. I mean, it’s that good. Wait, it’s that refreshing. It’s not the same old fluff that labels are putting out and it really pushes some new territories with some old sounds.
The reason for this post is basically, if I ever made a record again this is the record I would have wanted to make. This takes so many styles and sounds and just creates a new fresh rock.
To be honest, most music people won’t get into it. They probably won’t even like it, but I urge you to listen. Listen to the arrangements, listen to the drum patterns, listen to the synth/guitar lines… there are many, many gems in this one.
Ok, enough being a fan boy. Check it out @ Amazon
This video is just bit outside the box too… but cool song.

My Life. The Circus.
// July 10th, 2009 // No Comments » // life
It’s been a very busy past two weeks. I feel like my life is a circus.
In the middle of moving to Tennessee my blog site was hacked and I lost my last template. For now, I’ve settled on a Circus type thing to go right along with my life right now.
No matter the circus, I’m blessed beyond belief. Our move has been pretty easy on the kids and the only real negative is getting pushed off by AT&T two times for internet/tv service.
Inked Digital has taken off well. Daniel Island is keeping me very busy, but I’ve signed on to help 5 new clients in just the past two weeks. I must say that I was a little nervous about jumping on my own again but wow, it’s been amazing.
Thanks for hanging in there with me and laugh at my theme once again. I hope to life under control soon thus getting a blog theme to match my “control”. We’ll see.
