Top 10 Albums Of 2008 That Didn't Come Out In 2008

Yeah, it’s weird. I know. Since it’s typical to do a top 10 list for each year I decided to change it up a bit… Here’s the deal- none of these albums came out in 2008 but are on my top 10 list of the ones I listened to in 2008. Confused yet?

10. Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin IV

9. U2 – Joshua Tree

8. Bob Marley & The Wailers – Legend

7. The Beatles – The White Album

6. Guns N’ Roses – Appetite For Destruction

5. Beastie Boys – License To Ill

4. Foo Fighters – Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace

3. Pixies – Surfer Rosa & Come On Pilgrim (duel set)

2. Michael Jackson – Thriller

There you have it. That’s my every day list I’d say. Yes, go ahead and judge me– it’s ok, I probably don’t like everything that you do! But that is the joy of it, right? Those artists are in my playlists all the time- usually mixed up with some new artists. Maybe I’ll compile my favorite tracks of 2008 at some point… maybe.

Wow, this was harder than I thought, since I rarely sit and listen to whole albums anymore. But, using the iTunes playcount, and limiting to one album per artist I think this is my top 10 of not-2008:

man, i couldn’t even do a list with just albums, ‘cus for me it’s usually that i find an artist, then i go after all the music that they’ve put out, so my list is gonna have to be just artists that didn’t put out music this year
